Instructors

Andrew Brenan, PT, OCS

Andrew is a graduate of the Kaiser Hayward PT

Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy

and has been teaching manual therapy long and

short term courses since 1994. He is currently a

clinical specialist at Kaiser South Sacramento in the

outpatient orthopedic department.  He has

taught this Grade V course with Clare since 2007

Clare Lewis MSPT, MPH, PsyD, MTC, FAAOMPT

Clare is a certified manual therapist from the

StanleyParis Institute and is a professor at CSU Sacramento teaching the orthopedic class for the last 11 years. She practices at Remedy Rehab doing orthopedic

outpatient manual therapy.  Clare also holds

doctorates in clinical psychology & organizational

psychology.

·     Current evidence underlying GPM-V techniques

·     Clinical reasoning for technique selection and progression

·     Strategies for addressing clinical reasoning problems of clinicians and students

·     Legislative issues affecting PT practice

Current practice in an orthopedic PT setting

Prior exposure or course work in manual therapy
